Bearing success
Bearing was timely delivered, fits, and works in my old craftsman hand saw. Less than half the price of a Sears bearing. One mistake I made was ordering a bearing with English units measured with a ruler. When it didn’t fit, I measured the old bearing again with micrometer and discovered it was metric. Lesson learned. Don’t measure bearings with a ruler.

Shopsmith Jointer repair
One of the bearings on the cutter head was bad. Shopsmith prices on everything are out of site. Got the dimensions off of the Shopsmith forum and ordered it from VXB. Took it to a local electrical motor repair shop and had them put them on the cutterhead. They charged me $5.00. I guess I looked poor. Don’t know the longetivity but them seem o.k.
