1.5" inch Plastic Wheel 1-1/2" inch with 8mm Bore Ball Bearing

I rebuilt our club’s lawn bowl rakes using this wheel/bearing combo which fits like a glove into a 1.5” PVC pipe. A four inch length of PVC with one of these bearings glued into each end has successfully replaced a well worn original “non bearing” part of our bowls rakes. This find, for me, culminated a two year search for something we could use to extend the life of our unique set of equipment.

The wheel has been in service for a week now in the rigging of a rowing machine. It replaces an earlier replacement wheel that lasted six years. The original wheels gave 18 years of service. So not much to say yet about this one except it is nice to have silent bearings!! I will replace the other three wheels prophylactically.

I only wish there were more size choices. I need wider wheel than this, but the bore and radius are perfect.
