I will use the bearings on a drum sander that I am constructing. With a one-inch shaft and these bearings the drum will be well supported and should run with little or no vibration.

Great bargain for the price!

I purchased a set of these bearings to support the drum shaft of my shop-built sanding drum. I priced similar bearings that were 6 times the cost of these. However you do get what you pay for. The cast iron housing wasn't machined very well and I was forced to shim the housing block and had to offset the housing perpendicular to the shaft to get the shaft to run true. But for the price I think it's a good bargain. It did the job and seems to work well. Hopefully the bearing itself will hold up under constant use.
