destroyed rods.

I used these on a 3d printer. They run a bit rough and fairly quickly cut gouges in the smooth rods I bought them with. I'm going to have to replace it all with something better.

Think twice before buying

The LM8UU are cheap. But that's about it. I ordered two of these and and 8mm rod. One of the bearings slides into the rod with a bit of effort. It feels very rough when I tried sliding it back and forth on the rod. I hoped that with some extra oiling and a few more slides it will move smoothly but no it did not. The second bearing was a little better and hopefully will improve with use. I would suggesting buying a bunch and pick the best from the pack. Better still I would sugget that the VXB staff tests all of them and weed out the bad ones.
